Hengeler Mueller is a partnership of lawyers with offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Brussels and London. The firm currently has more than 250 lawyers (incl. 90 partners).

Hengeler Mueller originates from a merger in 1990 between the Düsseldorf law firm Hengeler Kurth Wirtz and the Frankfurt law firm Mueller Weitzel Weisner. The Frankfurt firm was established as early as 1947 and the Düsseldorf office has even provided legal advice for more than 100 years.

The Berlin office was opened by the newly created law firm Hengeler Mueller in 1990, followed by offices in Brussels, London and Munich. Hengeler Mueller's international presence is further enhanced by working together in Integrated Teams with pre-eminent independent law firms around the world.

Hengeler Mueller specializes in high-end legal advice to companies in complex business transactions. The firm provides counsel to leading German and international industrial and commercial companies, private equity companies, banks, insurances and other financial service providers. In recent years, clients have included 22 of the 30 DAX companies, 31 of the companies comprising the EURO STOXX 50 and 14 of the 30 companies listed in the Dow Jones, in addition to non-listed companies in a variety of sectors.
